Children should "cushion" themselves in between pedestrians when they are crossing the traffic light junctions

When among an
overflowing
crowd of pedestrians, they also have to look-out for traffic coming from behind
(where necessary ie when pedestrian movement spills quite a bit into such traffic, in which case should not cross but wait for the next pedestrian green)
or from the turns. Proceed with caution when view is blocked and also keep a lookout for traffic (even straight-moving vehicles) failing to stop even at traffic junctions.
Concentrate at whichever side or sides traffic is supposed to come from.
